It has been 7 days on ALTAR V2.
On day 4 I had gone out to use a gift card that was about to expire. A few girls came up to me, chatted, joked, and made playful comments. I moved along. I just wanted to shop.
In one store a girl was trying a jacket on, torn about whether to get it. I was not trying to flirt. I told her the jacket looked good. She said thank you, smiled, and joked that the jacket would put her in debt.
We went separate ways. At the lay-by station, where you put a deposit on an item and the store holds it, I was going to leave. I went up to her anyway and held out the gift card. I said I had practically made her buy the jacket, so it was the least I could do. She was shocked, and happy, and she refused it. It took a fair bit of convincing. She thanked me and said she works two jobs, and that I was practically saving her right now. I said it was no problem.
I turned to leave. A few steps later she called out, "You aren't going to ask for my number?" She seemed a bit confused. I had thought about it, and I also thought it would be rude to ask after giving her the gift card. I told her I did not want her to feel she owed me her number. She smiled, said that was sweet, and handed me her phone with her contacts open. She said if I had asked at the start, she probably would have handed the gift card right back.
Aside from her, I have had more attention from women. Random people come up just to chat. Random compliments. Even my dentist complimented me. There are other moments I cannot recall in enough detail to describe.
